Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant tracker
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme gives a £7,500 grant toward an air source or ground source heat pump in England and Wales, or £5,000 toward a biomass boiler. The scheme is run by Ofgem, has passed 100,000 applications, and was extended to 2030 in April 2026. From 21 July 2026 the off gas grid grant rises to £9,000, and air-to-air heat pumps become eligible for £2,500.
